Plot
Samantha Kingston wakes up on February 12, known as Cupid Day. She is picked up by her friends, Lindsay, Ally and Elody, who jokes with her about losing her virginity to her boyfriend Rob, that night. During the class, when his teacher is teaching at Sisyphus, Sam is handed a rose, gifted from his girlfriend in a nonchalant tone. He was also given a pale rose with a note suggesting it was from another boy named Kent. He then invited him to his party. At lunch the girls make fun of Juliet, an outsider girl they see as "psycho". At the party, Juliet appeared, apparently uninvited. Lindsay confronts him and the two fights, with Juliet starting to cry. When they returned from the party, the car crashed into something and fell, apparently killing Sam.
Sam woke up in his room on the Day of the Gods of Romance again. Thinking of the previous day was just a nightmare, Sam went on that day but found that the same thing happened, and they fell back after leaving the party. Sam woke up the same day again. Realizing that he was in a circle of time, he convinced the group to stay over rather than go to a party, trying to avoid an accident. They avoid the accident, but find out later on the night that Juliet committed suicide. Although avoiding the accident, Sam wakes up the same day again. The camera effect was used to show that Sam constantly experienced the same day many times and seemed unable to break the circle, so one morning he decided to react angrily to everyone around him, insulting his friends and family. At the party, he had sex with Rob, but did not seem to enjoy the experience. She ran to Kent's room and cried. Kent finds and comforts her, letting her stay in her room. She asks him why he's so nice to him and he says it because he was the first person to make him laugh after his father died in third grade.
In the next iteration, he skipped school and spent time with his sister. At the party, Sam and Kent share a kiss. He hears a fight between Lindsay and Juliet from the hall and chases him through the forest. Sam tries to stop Juliet, but she jumps in front of Lindsay's car and kills herself, scaring Sam and making her realize that Juliet is what the car hit on the original day. Sam wakes up again with a sense of calm and understanding, knowing what he must do to end the round. She decides to be kind and caring as she goes about her day. He sent roses to Juliet and Kent. He also broke up with Rob and told Kent that he had a "secret" for her. At the party, she kisses Kent and tells him that she loves him. He again intervenes to save Juliet, but when Juliet tries to run into the traffic, Sam pushes him out of the way at the last second and is killed by a truck. A montage of good memories is displayed. Juliet sobs at Sam's lifeless body so she saves her, which is answered by Sam's voice, "No, you saved me."
