Bravest Warriors is an American animated web series set in 3085, and follows four teenage heroes to hire as they penetrate the universe to rescue the adorable aliens and the world. using their emotional powers. It was created by animator Pendleton Ward, also the creator of Cartoon Network Adventure Time, directed by Breehn Burns, and produced by Frederator Studios for their YouTube Cartoon Hangover channel. Fred Seibert, Burns, and Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi are executive producers of the event.

The animated series begin streaming on Cartoon Hangover on November 8th, 2012. The series is based on a short produced for the animated Nicktanons Network animated series of incubators of Frederator Random! The cartoon aired on January 10, 2009. A comic book adaptation published by Boom! Studio was launched on October 24, 2012.

The event won the Shorty Award for Best Web Show in 2013 and was nominated for Annecy International Animated Film Festival. This is also the 2015 Webby Award.

On October 20, 2016, a television series was announced which will also serve as a continuation of the web series. The TV series, officially regarded as the fourth season, is being produced by Nelvana Limited in Canada, in collaboration with Frederator. It began airing on the VRV in the United States on December 25, 2017, and is planned to be broadcast in Canada on Teletoon in September 2018. The 21-minute documentary was released on December 11, 2017. The fourth season, unlike the previous three, was animated using Toon Boom Harmony and no longer animation frame by frame.

When the sound of acting for the fourth season was recorded between Los Angeles, California and Toronto, Ontario; this is the first North American animation production to credit SAG-AFTRA and ACTRA.

The pilot series, written by Pendleton Ward and directed by Ward and Randy Myers, first aired on Frederator Random! Cartoons on the Nicktoons Network on January 10, 2009. The short feature consists of various designs and voice actors from the web series.

Bravest Warriors was launched on YouTube channel Cartoon Hangover belonging to Frederator Studios on November 8, 2012. The first season was released between November 8, 2012 and March 7, 2013. The series features new character designs and castings from original pilots. Breehn Burns, Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi, and Fred Seibert developed and executives produced the Bravest Warriors series for Frederator Studios. Burns, writer and director of Bravest Warriors, is co-head of Lone Sausage Productions and award-winning animated co-creator, Dr. Tran . The second season begins on October 17, 2013. The series begins streaming on Nintendo Video service for Nintendo 3DS in North America from November 2013.

On July 20, 2016, Cartoon Hangover announced that all 3 episodes of the Bravest Warriors season will be aired exclusively on VRV, an Ellation programmed streaming platform. Season 3, along with the previous two seasons, was launched on the Hangover Cartoon channel Select from January 10, 2017.

Bravest Warriors comic adaptation by Boom! Comics in San Diego Comic-Con started publishing the label Boom! kaboom! from 24 October 2012, and ran for 36 problems. The last four issues have not been released as part of the trade collection. At San Diego Comic-Con International in 2013 it was announced that Cartoon Hangover has teamed up with Viz Media to create their own graphic comic and graphic novel, with Bravest Warriors being one of the titles announced under their Perfect Square footprint. They are announced to be released in 2014.
