Histori
The idea for historical figures fighting each other was conceived by the Ahlquist, who gave Shukoff an idea as an improvisation show, entitled " Check OneTwo "; when both worked on the improvisational drama, along with Zach Sherwin, who has appeared in this series. They encountered many difficulties at first and decided that it would be much better as a YouTube series than an improvised show. The first three rap battles were each done on a $ 50 budget. On September 26, 2010, the first rap battle was uploaded to YouTube, featuring Shukoff as John Lennon and Ahlquist as Bill O'Reilly.
Before the web series was on YouTube, Nice Peter and EpicLLOYD recorded their first song, which was a battle between Chucky's child's play and Chunk actor Michael J. Fox. The song is free and badly made; as a result, it was not released to the public. Instead, Shukoff and Ahlquist recorded their first official song for the first episode, "John Lennon vs. Bill O'Reilly"
Episode 15, called "The Last Battle", marks the end of the first season. This battle pitted EpicLLOYD and NicePeter against each other with the brilliant acting of all the characters they have played for 15 episodes. Epic Rap Battles of History was later restored on December 8, 2011, hosted on their new channel (moved from NicePeter's private channel), ERB , with behind the scenes videos on their second channel , ERB2 . Nice Peter and Maker Studios also created the official website for this series, where fans can choose the winner for each video, and read the first funny short biography of the first person by each character.
