Adrian Pasdar (born April 30, 1965) is an American voice actor and artist. He is known for playing Jim Profit on the TV series Untung , for his role in Near Dark , Carlito's Way , Mysterious Ways and as Nathan Petrelli at Heroes . In addition, he directed the feature film Cement . Pasdar is the sound of Iron Man in the Marvel Anime , as well as in the animated series, Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble . He also plays Alec Rybak, district attorney on The Lying Game and has a recurring role as Glenn Talbot/Graviton on Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. .

Initial years
Pasdar was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. His father, Homayoon Pasdar, is an Iranian immigrant and cardiac surgeon, practicing near Philadelphia. His mother, Rosemarie (nÃÆ' Â © e Sbresny), works as a travel agent.
She has a sister, Anamarie Pasdar, a theater director and producer of theater.

Careers
Initial career
Pasdar turned his attention to the production of the campus stage and rediscovered his early interest in writing and acting. No longer able to play soccer, he dropped out of school and returned home, taking a job with a theater group, People's Light and Theater Company. There he worked on sound and lighting as part of a stage crew that was responsible for the construction set. He had a painful accident on the set, cutting off the tip of his left thumb. The resulting medical compensation was paid to attend the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City.
Pasdar was also chosen to play a small part as a police officer in the Dixie Chicks video for their song, "Goodbye Earl". The music video won the Academy of Country Music and the Video Awards of the Year Country Music Association in 2000.
Movies
At the age of 19, she auditioned for a role in Top Gun . Director Tony Scott was so impressed that he wrote the "Chipper" section just for him. This led to a greater role in Solarbabies (1986), Streets of Gold (1986), and Kathryn Bigelow sect vampire movie Near Dark 1987), with Pasdar in the lead role of Caleb Colton. Other key roles include Vital Signs (1990). Pasdar got his biggest break in the movie, when he starred as a beautiful woman across from Julie Walters in the British film Just Like a Woman. In 1992, he left Hollywood and returned to New York, working as a cashier for rooms and meals, taking on occasional small sections, such as Frankie at Brian De Palma's Carlito's Way (1993).
Adrian Pasdar wrote and directed the short film Beyond Belief and directed his first film, the neo-noir of Cement's artwork, the contemporary re-telling of Othello, 1999. The $ 1.7 million independent feature, which won the Best Picture award at the festival circuit, starred Chris Penn, Jeffrey Wright, Sherilyn Fenn, Henry Czerny and written by Screenplay writer Justin Monjo. "I have used every ounce of energy and every drop of money I have to make Cement ," Pasdar said.

Pasdar's main breakthrough into television came in 1996, when he was cast as the title character on the Fox series Untung . She starred as Nathan Petrelli in the superhero drama NBC Heroes . Pasdar based his mysterious character on the "most morally liquid characters" he encountered in his life. Characters are not based on a single political figure, but on a different melange, good and bad. The character of Pasdar was killed in an episode that aired November 30, 2009.
Pasdar voiced Hawkeye in the animated series The Super Hero Squad Show and voiced Captain America in the animated series "Black Panther . Personal life
Pasdar married Natalie Maines of Dixie Chicks on June 24, 2000. They have two sons, Jackson Slade Pasdar (born March 15, 2001) and Beckett Finn Pasdar (born July 14, 2004). On July 5, 2017, Maines announced that he and Pasdar were divorced after 17 years of marriage.
Pasdar is the guitarist for the band Rock Band charity from TV. Part of the proceeds from the band concert went to the nominated charity, Rush Epilepsy Center.
