Charles Otto Puth Jr. ( ; born December 2, 1991) is an American recorder, songwriter and record producer. The initial exposure came through the viral success of the song's video uploaded to YouTube.
"See You Again" was released as Puth's debut single in 2015, which he co-coined, co-produced, and featured with Wiz Khalifa for the Furious 7 soundtrack as a tribute to Paul Walker. at number one on US Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks in a row. After the success of "See You Again", he then gained worldwide recognition for the next few releases, including his debut single "Marvin Gaye", featuring vocals from Meghan Trainor. The song occupies the charts in New Zealand, Ireland, and England.
The debut studio album Puth, Nine Track Mind , was released in January 2016, and was preceded by the single "One Call Away" and "We Do not Talk Anymore", peaking at number 12 and number nine, respectively - in the US Billboard Hot 100. Personal life
