Hot Rod will send his own homemade demo CD to 50 Cent's G- the recording will sign it. After 50 Cent heard the CD, he thought that the easy flow of Hot Rod reminded him of himself. It was December 2005 when a 24-year-old rapper received a call on his daily job as a mortgage broker, and it was not from a random G-Unit association but 50 Cent himself.
Hot Rod started in hip-hop as a teenager in the mid 90's, making a knock. "When I showed up making me his music engineer's assistant at church, that's when I realized my passion for music," he reflected, "I always have it in my blood so nothing stops me from that point."
