Peter Hollens (born March 4, 1982) is an American singer/songwriter, producer and entrepreneur. She has been involved with the music of a cappella since 1999 when she and Leo da Silva founded a group of cappella from Oregon University, On The Rocks, known as the first official collegial > a cappella group in Oregon. He regularly releases new music videos to his YouTube channel.

Careers
Originally from Ashland, Oregon, Hollens graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal. Since his graduation from the University of Oregon, Hollens has been involved with a cappella college, including recording, producing, and assessing a cappella competition throughout the United States. In 2010, she participated in NBC's The Sing Off receiving praise from Sing Sh Off Stockman, Nicole Scherzinger and Ben Folds for a solo performance that led her group, On The Rocks. They eliminated 6 out of 10 groups that appeared.
Hollens notes and produces from his home studio in Eugene, Oregon, and has also been recorded for Sony and Epic Records. The Hollens recordings include songs for "The Sing-Off Season 2-Greatest Hits" as well as many college albums cappella for albums such as On the Rocks, Division, Chordials Cornell, Duke of Men of Yale and Whiffenpoofs. He also recorded the winners of Sing-Off Season 2, Committed, Backbeats, and Grammy Award-winning group, The Swingle Singers.
In 2011 he started his own YouTube channel, mostly posting music videos with multi-tracked acappella covers. Repeatedly working with other artists, he often worked with Lindsey Stirling and Taylor Davis. On October 3, 2017, the channel has over 1.7 million subscribers. To support his musical endeavor, Hollens joins Patreon's new crowdfunding platform in 2013. In an interview in March 2017 he mentioned that he was an advisor to Patreon. In 2012 he released his first album.
In 2014 he signed an agreement with Sony Masterworks. Peter released his self-titled album on October 27 that year.
In 2015, he leads guest vocals for Brian Wilson's No Pier Pressure album on "Our Special Love".
In 2016, Hollens teamed up with Home Free, the cappella sensation state, and the winner of The Sing-Off Season 4, to record the all-vocal arrangement of the Amazing Grace hymn . "I have the absolute honor to work with Home Free for this one," Hollens stated in a video message at the close of YouTube's release of the song. "I love these guys, they're very talented and fun, we've worked together before in a video called " 19 You Me . "
Peter and debuted on Broadway in "Home For the Holidays, Live on Broadway" presented Nov. 17 through Dec. 30, 2017, at Wilson Theater in August. On December 12, 2017, she was a guest with The Piano Guys live stream call 'The World Christmas Concert with The Piano Guys and Friends', where she commented that she was on "Home for the Holidays, Living on Broadway" and would get a taxi to the theater.

Personal life
Hollens is married to Evynne Smith, one of the founders of the Cappella Group Division. Evynne has her own YouTube channel, posting music videos, sometimes collaborating with her husband. He also wrote a musical called "Milagro." They have a son named Ashland James Hollens (born March 30, 2014). Peter and Evynne performed at their first Broadway show, Home for the Holidays, in November 2017. On January 18, 2018, he announced via Instagram that he and his wife were expecting another child. His wife, Evynne, posted the same photo on his Instagram with the title, "Sometimes what happens on Broadway is not always on Broadway, Peter and I are glad to announce that we are expecting" Broadway Baby "Opening July 2018!"
