Production
The film begins as a trailer written by writer, director and producer Shaun Monson at an animal shelter around Los Angeles in 1999. Monson originally recorded footage for PSA on pets that spay and neutered but what he saw moved so much that he changed it into a documentary. The film will take another six years to complete because of the difficulty of getting records in these industries.
