The music video, directed by Sophie Muller, was filmed in and around the Normandie Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, one of the world's most famous examples of Art Deco architecture. It follows the dilemma of a single mother who struggles to reconcile her children's needs with her dream of becoming a singer.
