Konstanty Antoni Gorski ( Polish pronunciation: Ã, [k? n'stant? an't? (Lida, June 13, 1859 - May 31, 1924, Pozna?) is a Polish composer, violinist, organist and music teacher.

Gorski started school at Grodno and continued at the First Philological Gymnasium in Wilno. He earned his music education at the Institute of Music in Warsaw (later under the direction of Apolinary K? Tski) and at the Conservatory of St.. Petersburg. In 1881 he graduated from Hungarian violinist and pedagogical class Leopold Auer and received a large silver medal and "free artist" status. Next year he spent studying composition and instrumentation in the class of renowned composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
In 1890 after eight years of travel to Russia and Georgia - through Penza, Saratov and Tiflis (Tbilisi now) Konstanty Gorski arrived in the Ukrainian city of Kharkov to live there for 29 years. He spent years teaching youth in Kharkov High School Musical, performing public works (he was one of the founders of the cultural organization "Polish Building"), working as a symphony orchestra conductor and Church and Polish Choir created for his efforts, and still loved by publicity publicity and highly appreciated by other composer players of their musical compositions (and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky treats him with profound respect by saying that Gorski is the biggest to execute the D-dur violin concert).
The political and economic changes in the Russian Imperia, especially the October Revolution of 1917, had a major influence on Gorski's fortune. Foreseeing approaching civil war and not having the possibility to continue his work in Kharkov, Gorski took his family and returned to Poland which has reached freedom. At first he settled in Warsaw, where he later worked as a thinner in theaters "Colosseum" and "Wodewil," and after Warsaw he went to Pozna? and reached the position of the Great Theater concertmaster, and held it until the end of life. Her Opera "Margier" is shown in Pozna? Opera in 1927. Other compositions of Gorski were also executed during the interwar period, eg Missa Solemnis in the main E-flat (among others by Pozna? Moniuszko Chorus), symphonic poems of the Vicious Circle (Zaczarowane ko? O) and Fantasy f-moll Organ (the first time it was executed in 1920 by Antoni Karnaszewki in Warsaw Philharmonic and after three years - by Feliks Nowowiejski at the Copernicus cultural event at Pozna University). The fantasy is executed up to now with great success.
