Office Sway is a presentation program and is part of the Microsoft Office product suite. Sway is offered for a general release by Microsoft in August 2015. It allows users who have a Microsoft account to combine text and media to create websites that are eligible to show. Users can pull content locally from a used device, or from an internet source such as Bing, Facebook, OneDrive, and YouTube.
The Sway site is stored on a Microsoft server and is bound to a user's Microsoft account. They can be viewed and edited from any web browser with web apps available in Office Online. No offline editing or viewing functionality. They are also accessible using apps for Windows 10 and iOS. Additional apps are under development for Android.

Sway is developed internally by Microsoft. At the end of 2014, the company announced a preview version of Sway as an invite preview only and announced that Sway will not require an Office 365 subscription.
