Chris Hughes (born April 18, 1975) is a TV hypnotist, hypnotherapist, speaker, and English entertainer who was born. He is known for trying to set the world record for the biggest online hypnosis event. Socialtrance's live event is exclusively for Facebook and Twitter users and attracts over 1,000,000 listeners from over 130 countries.
Since this event he has become increasingly famous for his modern approach to hypnosis. He appeared and appeared on BBC One, BBC Three, ITV, Sky Living, CNN TÃÆ'¼rk, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 5 Live and Talksport with Ian Collins. In the same year on May 31, more than 13,500 people took part in the Socialtrance Stop Smoking Session for World No Tobacco Day once again for Facebook and Twitter users.
On World Hypnotism Day, January 4, 2011, Socialtrance returned with a weight-loss session for a charity attended by more than 30,000 people. A 30 minute live micro-live video is designed to change the eating habits of all participants. At the end of the session, MP3 weight loss was released on iTunes and all other major music sites with all downloads donated to Diabetes UK.
In September 2011, Hughes appeared on Sky Living's Slave to Food with Steps singer Claire Richards. During the first episode Hughes looks Claire's hypnotism and tries to help change her relationship with food.

Careers
Chris Hughes started life as a studio engineer at Chipping Norton Recording Studios who worked with the likes of Andy Bell of Oasis, Hurricane # 1 to name a few. A few years later his interest in computer programming and web development caused him to leave the music world and become a full-time computer programmer. During this time he developed an interest in hypnosis, initially for self-development and helping friends with problems such as weight control and smoking. She has now been practicing as a full-time hypnotist and hypnotherapist for over 7 years and specializing in self-help therapy and hypnotherapy CDs.

Education
Chris Hughes attended Bicester Community College in Oxfordshire and then University of Salford, where he received a diploma in sound and acoustic engineering. He then went on to graduate from the Omni Hypnosis Training Center in Florida and is currently certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists.
