Mehdi Sadaghdar is a Canadian electrical engineer and YouTube personality in Iran. His videos are a "very ridiculous tutorial" of electrical experiments where he often receives electric shocks. As of May 2018, the channel ElectroBOOM has more than 1,500,000 subscribers. The most watched video with over 8 million views is a tutorial on how to create coils.
He was born in Iran in 1977 and currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) from Tehran University in 1999 and a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) from Simon Fraser University in 2006.
