Jake Joseph Paul (born January 17, 1997) is an American actor and YouTube personality that rose to a significant fame on Vine's now dead video app. Paul first became famous for playing Dirk's role on the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark.

Paul began his career in September 2013 posting a video about Vine. By the time Vine was closed, Jake Paul had 5.3 million followers and 2 billion plays in apps.
By 2015, it was announced that Paul will be starring as Dirk in the new Disney Channel comedy series Bizaardvark.
On January 5, 2017, Paul included invited guests at an event at the White House centered on social media. As an acrobat for his YouTube vlog channel, he hid in the bathroom there before slipping out of the White House at 3:30 am without being faced with security.
On January 17, 2017, it was reported that Paul had launched Team 10 with $ 1 million in financing to create influencer marketing management and creative agencies around youth entertainment. Investors include Danhua Capital, Alpha Horizons, Vayner Capital, Sound Ventures & amp; Investment A-Grade, and Adam Zeplain.
On May 30, 2017, Paul released a song and a music video with Team 10, titled "It's Everyday Bro", which earned over 70 million views on YouTube in the first month and has become the third most disliked video on YouTube. The song reached number 94 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the chart of June 24, 2017.

Disorders in Beverly Grove
On July 18, 2017, it was reported that Paul's neighbors in Beverly Grove, Los Angeles, met with city council members and police officials about whether to file a public disruption suit against Paul. This was after Paul made his home address public, leading a crowd of fans to gather outside Paul's residence, and noise complaints by neighbors. On April 24, 2018, it was reported that Paul was sued by Cobra Acquisition; the company owns the house, for $ 2.5 million.
Separation from Disney
On July 22, 2017, during the middle of the second season shoot of Bizaardvark, the Disney Channel announced that Paul would be leaving the series, saying in a statement "We have agreed together that Jake Paul will leave his role in the Disney Channel series 'Bizaardvark' On behalf of the production company, the cast and crew, we thank Jake for his good work on the TV series over the past 18 months and have conveyed our best wishes to him. "The announcement followed a KTLA news report 5 about a public complaint from Paul's neighbors about the noise generated by Paul's pranks, the feasts, the dangers of fire and the large crowd of Paul's fans who gathered in their neighborhood. Paul then confirmed the news on his Twitter page, saying he would now focus more on his personal brand, his YouTube channel, his business venture, and more adult acting roles. Paul later revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he was actually fired from Disney's Bizaardvark who wanted to speed up the weaning process from the show because of the KTLA segment.
Explicit YouTube Videos
On January 3, 2018, Paul uploaded a video to his YouTube channel entitled "I lost my virginity" which caused controversy because it was too sexually explicit and inappropriate for a younger audience. The video was criticized for his thumbnail featuring Paul and his girlfriend, Erika Costell, semi-naked on a bed with Costell on top of Paul in a sexual position. The thumbnail was then changed with both Paul and Costell fully clothed and not touching each other. Later, a video has been leaked by TMZ which shows Paul explicitly using the word "nigga" while tapping. In the video, Paul uses the word twice, says "little ass nigga" and "I whip him like a nigga Richie Vetter, he makes his vagina wet so it gets wet."
Personal life
In July 2017, Paul and his collaborators rented a house for $ 17,000 USD per month in Beverly Grove, Los Angeles. In November 2017, he bought a new property in Calabasas, California.
